Radio Rivendell is a one-of-a-kind Internet-based radio station. It is, in many ways, the only station of it’s type. On this station you can hear fantasy music, all day every day. Radio Rivendell has been online since 2001. The station has grown tremendously since those early days, when it was very little more than an old computer in the corner with a CD of burned fantasy tunes playing over and over again. Soon, more disc players were added. Eventually, a unique domain, website and forums were all added to make the station what it is today. The music on Radio Rivendell comes from a number of well-known and well loved fantasy sources. Fantasy films, from Willow to Lord of the Rings to Conan, provide a good number of the tracks for the station. Others come from popular fantasy video games, including famous titles such as Warcraft, Dungeon Siege and others. Radio Rivendell also tries to support small bands as well as independent artists who have sent their music along to the station, as well.
