KSBJ 89.3 Radio is a Christian radio station that features contemporary Christian music. It is based – appropriately enough – in Humble, Texas. It is noteworthy that this is a non commercial radio station, and as such the contemporary Christian music that is being played is solely under the control of the station and its DJs. With the slogan that “God listens,” it stands to reason that this radio had better something decent to offer.

KSBJ 89.3 Radio starts off the day with the morning show, hosted by Mike & Susan. It begins at 5:30 AM and ends at 10:00 AM. Radio show aficionados who missed their favorite pieces are glad to learn that they can relive what they missed on the KSBJ 89.3 Radio website at www.Ksbj.org. The midday show with Joey K takes place from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. In addition to playing contemporary Christian music, he also has regular guests on the show, such as the Healthy Housekeeper, and also Mary Hunt, who offers debt proof living advice.

The afternoon show with Liz is another favorite on KSBJ 89.3 Radio. Lasting from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Liz also invites listeners to visit her page on the radio station’s website for fabulous giveaways. Evenings on KSBJ 89.3 Radio take place with Jen from 7:00 PM until midnight. On Saturday evenings – specifically from 9:00 PM until midnight – it is time for the Light force with Kent Matthews. Listeners enjoy his easy banter with musicians, the introduction to the latest CD releases, and also the information about concert tours.

Sunday mornings at KSBJ 89.3 Radio are reserved for “Enter His Gates,” a feature lasting from 6:00 AM until noon. It is moderated by Tim McDermott who is actually the station manager. This would normally not be considered a high impact programming time, but considering that many faithful attend church on Saturday nights or in the alternative might be without a faith community at the time, there is a very real need for a high quality music ministry to minister to those who are not in worship service on Sunday morning.
