DJ LITTLE GU
Marcos Augusto, known as DJ Little GU, was influenced in his childhood by the 70's classic funk. Songs like Earth Wind and Fire's 'Let's groove' and disco tracks started to caught his atention. DJ Small played in a lot of places such UP bar (best dancing pub in Belo Horizonte in 2004 by VEJA magazine), A obra (best dancing pub in 1997 by VEJA magazine), Xtreme Club, 360, Deputamadre, Matriz, Groovebox, Tattoo Reggae Bar and Drumnation (the most important drum & bass project in the city and one of the most importants in Brazil). In 2005 june Small started to search for electronic gospel music and in october he was back to the dj-booths, but now playing Gospel House Music (glorifying the Jesus Christ's name, our lord and only savior that we believe). In one way it was easy because musically house music was always your second passion. Now using the artistic name Little Gu, he is one of the few brazillian DJs playing only gospel house music and he produce a gospel house project called GOD MAKE ME FUNKY along with DJ M. Lacerda The DJ have been playing in a lot of gospel parties, as the important Musical Forum IBC 2006, a meeting of christian musicians of Brazil's many cities.
