The spectrum of cultural and current affairs subjects which most interest the Rochester community are reflected in the broadcast schedule of WITR 89.7 FM which includes the broadest possible range of cultural commentary, community information and alternative news and current events viewpoints to serve the needs of the Rochester communities. WITR 89.7 FM’s mission is to provide our Rochester listening community with educational alternative radio programming. Alternative is relative to the market, including the commercial market due to the fact that the audience listens to the radio, not exclusively commercial or non-commercial radio.
