The station broadcasts under an educational broadcast license, and broadcasts at a power of 100 watts. It can be heard in downtown Chicago, Near North Side, Near South Side and Far West Side. The station hopes to serve the desires and the needs of the local community, and desires to follow principles of professionalism and standard business procedures. The station is supported financially by the college as well as donations from businesses in the local community.
