NPR Radio News Talk Radio from Washington

NPR is the National Pubic Radio Station, and is located in Washington DC. NPR broadcasts commercial free news, entertainment, and talk programs 7 days a week. NPR spans out to over 800 pubic radio stations, reaching 26 million Americans each week.

In addition to local programs, NPR produces over 100 hours of programs each week, including the award winning “Morning Edition”. The Morning Edition airs Monday through Friday 5 to 7am. Every morning Renee Montagne and Steve Inskeep bring their devoted listeners two hours of in depth news coverage. The topics usually include politics, business, sports, entertainment, interviews, human interest pieces and much more.

Another program which draws in many listeners is “All Things Considered”. All Things Considered (or ATC) was actually the 1st program to be broadcast on NPR in 1971. There have been countless changes to the program in the past 36 years, however ATC is still delivering the news that is truly important to its listeners. ATC is broadcast weekdays from 4-6pm, by hosts Michelle Norris, Robert Siegel and Melissa Block. ATC brings you a combination of commentary, news, analysis and interviews in the hopes to inform and enlighten.
