The Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger was the man who rode away from the crowds on his horse Silver. This was the man who kept saying “Hi-yo Silver, away” and you knew that it was off to yet another adventure. This was the man who left his signature silver bullet behind. And this was the man with the Man Friday by his side – Tonto. The series was built on mystery and secrecy – no one knew who the Lone Ranger was – all they knew was that he came and fought for the right.

Cavalry charge was the music that was used for the theme that was used in the movie, which was the finale of the William Tell Overture, by Gioacchino Rossini.

The Birth of the series:
On the 30th of January, ’33 on WXYZ radio which was located in Detroit, Michigan the very first of the two thousand nine hundred and fifty six episodes of this show were premiered on air through the radio waves. Later it moved on to the radio network of the Mutual Broadcasting System and then it made its move to Blue Network on NBC.

Radio Series Premiums:
There were many different radio premiums that were offered by “The series”, some of them were found as rather anachronistic for the nineteenth century hero. For identification, he used a silver bullet, and there are some of the series on the radio premiums that reflect the same theme.

The Different Actors that Played the Role:
The different actors that played the role of the series were: John L. Barrett, George Seaton and Earle Grasser.

No matter which actor it was, the Lone Ranger, his sidekick and his horse are indelibly a part of our lives today. They have, by being so much a part of so many people’s lives for so long, been relegated to the great stories of America. Even if people don’t quite know the story today, they would definitely have heard about the characters.
