The Bobby Bones Show

The Early Days of the Bobby Bones Show:
The early days of radio for Bobby Bones consisted of stints at the radio station, KSWH, at his college at Henderson State University which was located in Arkadelphia, which is in Arkansas. At the exact same time that he was doing this, he also occupied a space on the evening shift at 105.9 KLAZ, which was a local commercial radio station located in Hot Springs which is also in Arkansas.

After Bobby Bones graduated from college, Bobby made a transition from the KLAZ radio station to KQAR, which was located in Little Rock, also in Arkansas. After only four months into this Clear Channel tenure, Bobby was approached with a proposition to syndicate his very own radio program nightly. At the mention of this opportunity, Bobby jumped and made a transition to Austin as well as the KHFI flagship.

From the flagship at KHFI, he was able to syndicate the nightly show into several other markets which included Oklahoma City, New Orleans, as well as Little Rock. Bobby had a listening audience nightly of nearly one million people. During 2003, in the month of March, Bobby was given the opportunity to move this night syndicated show on to the West Coast. Since Clear Channel didn’t want to lose Bobby as their air personality, they offered him a very lucrative deal that would make him the youngest host on morning radio shows in the entire country.

Bobby also has a rather impressive television resume adding to his credit. Bobby started off as the host of daily newscasts on Henderson Television. Some of his most notable positions include:
