Metal Bands by Subgenre:
After the seventies, there were many movements and subgenres that had emerged by playing their very own heavy metal interpretation, keep in mind that all of these subgenres can vary greatly. In order to find the metal bands that you are looking for, you are going to need to know what subgenre they are listed under. In the event that you don’t have this information, you are going to want to take the time to research the information.

In alternative metal, you have artists like System of a Down, Faith No More and Primus. Burzum, Bathory and Mayhem are included in the black metal bands. The Christian metal band consists of Saviour Machine, Stryper, and Whitecross. As you can see, this is how most information is listed about metal bands, by each individual subgenre of a mainstream genre.

Two Parts:
It is relatively rare that you will ever find a two members pop and rock band based on the fact that it is a lot easier to provide all of the different elements of music which are considered to be part of the sound of pop or rock music. Typically, the two member pop and rock bands omit the use of one of the musical elements. In the event, there are two member pop or rock bands, a drummer is more than likely going to be omitted because bass guitars and guitars in general along side of keyboards all are known to provide a rather rhythmic pulse.

During the eighties when the electronic sequencers became available widely, this made it a lot easier for the bands that consisted of two members to add in different musical elements which the two band members weren’t able to perform at the time. The sequencers allowed the bands to be able to pre-program some of the elements of their performance like the synth bass line and the part of the electronic drum. There were some two member bands that concentrated on pop music like Soft Cell that would use sequencers that were pre-programmed.
